Not pleased with shipping
The Zune itself is great.
Our issue is with the ordering process. We ordered the Zune using the free shipping (5 to 7 business days). It appeared that the order was not processed for 4 days and then was shipped. (Regular shipping did only take 3 days.) Just because we did not want to pay for overnight shipping, does not mean that the order should not be processed for several days. The next time we will order electronics from a dealer that will process the order immediately - not hold the order.
Perfect
Got this Zune two months ago and it works like a charm, the battery is good better than mp3 player I've previously owned. The screen is very clear along with the music it plays. Very proud of this product and love showing off its many features to others.
Great, But...
I've had this Zune for about 6 months now, and I have been completely satisfied. However, I did have to return my first one to Microsoft because it had a small crack underneath the play button. Me being my Obsessive Compulsive self, I needed to have the product in perfect condition. After I received the new Zune Microsoft (their service is incredibly easy to navigate for the Zunes by the way) I purchased a 1~brand new ZUNE II 80G CRYSTAL CASE ~CLEAR for an incredibly good price and I have not had any problems with it since then.
Overall, I would recommend this product to friends because of it's beautiful screen, large capacity, and ease of support services from Microsoft.
Error Code 0x8024402c when installing Zune software
I buy a Zune 120gb and I regretted so much I did not go with iPod. I downloaded the software from Zune.net with no problem. Then I tried to install it. I have tried a whole day and I was not able to resolve error code 0x8024402c problem. So, after a couple of week, the Zune is still sitting there cold.
Love the Zune
I love the Zune. This one with the huge hard drive is fabulous. This one is the third I've bought since getting my own. Now I have given 2 as gifts with all my music (60 gigs) loaded onto them and both of my music nut friends couldn't be happier. Just like me. Only con is that the FM radio reception isn't really great and I use radio a lot. But all in all the Zune 120 gig is AWESOME. Way better than IPOD and better graphics and user interface.
